- The follicular phase lasts for about 5-13 days.
- Then on the 14th-day egg is released from the corpus luteum called the ovulatory phase.
- Leutal phase includes thickening of the endometrial lining it lasts from the 15th to 28th day, if the egg fails to fertilize the cycle continues.
