MIRROR FORMULA:-

1/u+1/v=1/f

where u=object distance

v=image distance

f=focal length

MAGNIFICATION tells us how small or big an image is formed.

There are two formulae to find magnification.

1)For real and inverted image:- - v/u

For virtual and erect image :-. v/u

Second formula:-

h2/h1

where h2 is the image height

and h1is the object height.
