The presence of one nostril is called monorhynous and presence of two nostrils is called dirhynous condition...

if only one nostril is present then this is known as MONORHYNOUS and if two nostrils are present then this condition is called as DIRHYNOUS. FOR EXAMPLE in rabbits,there are two nostrils at the apex of nose thatswhy this is called dirhynous condition.
