When a body changes its position continuously with respect to time and a stationary object taken as reference point. it is said to be in motion.

Motion...
When a body is in motion it basically means that it changes it position with the passage of time. There are 2 types of motion uniform motion and non uniform motion... In uniform motion a body covers equal distance in equal intervals of time and in non uniform motion a body covers unequal distances in equal intervals of time....
