Resources can be classified by the following categories:

1. Origin

Abiotic - non living resources , like , water ,air , sun

Biotic - living resources like , plants , animals

2. Utility

Exhaustible - not available in loads . May end soon like fossil fuel

Inexhaustible - available all the time like solar , wind , ocean
