⭐What is Neutralization ?
=======================
◾The Reaction between an Acid and a Base is termed as Naturalization Reaction . This is because when an Acid reacts with a Base , they cancel out or nullify each other. In general it can be represented as :
Acid + Base ------------------------ Salt + Water
✔Examples :
============
➡HCl [ Acid ] + NaOH [ Base ] ---------------------- NaCl [ Salt ] + H2O
➡H2SO4 [ Acid ]. + NaOH [ Base ] --------------------Na2SO4 [ Salt ] + H2O
✔Examples from daily life:
========================
➡When a person is suffering from Acidity, he is advised to take Antacid tablets. This is because the excessive Acid present in the stomach is nullified by Basic nature of Antacids .
➡When an Ant bites us, we apply Calamine Solution to it . This is because the acid [ Formic Acid ] secreted by Ant is nullified by Basic nature of Calamine Solution.

Neutralization reaction is the reaction between acid and base where an acid and a base react with each other to form a salt. Generally, the reaction is conducted in their aqueous form, so the end product obtained is generally a mixture of salt and water.
The two examples of neutralization reaction from everyday life are:
1.) Vinegar, which is acidic in nature is used to treat the wasp sting(which is alkaline) whereas Baking powder, which is alkaline in nature is used for the treatment of ant sting (which is acidic). Both of these treatments employ the use of neutralization reaction.
2.) Antacids (or Anti acids) are the medical products which are used to ease the discomfort due to acid reflux by neutralizing the acid.
