distance = \frac{angle}{Radius of moon}

To Calculate the distance of the moon by parallax method:

Let θ is the angular diameter of moon

d – is the distance of moon from earth, from figure,

θ = \frac{D}{d}

Diameter of moon D = d.θ  

by knowing θ, d, diameter of moon can be calculated
