Parenchyma is living tissue, it have intercellular space between them. It takes air cavity then it will be alrenchyma if it takes chlorophyll then it will be collenchyma. It is a part of simple permanent tissue.

it is a tissue formed of living thin-walled oval or polygonal cells. it forms bulk of plant body. it is found in the soft parts of the plant such as cortex pith of roots and fleshy fruits.
