Periods are the flow of blood from the ovaries if the egg is not fertilised by a sperm. and the periods first starts when a girl becomes mature at the age of 12-14 years. it is also called as mensuration which flows every month till the age of 45-50 years.

if fertilisation doesn't takes place then endometriosis layer slows of and send through genetically opening of female this discharge include blood and endometriosis tissues this occurs on a monthly basis it called as menstruating
