Photorespiration is a metabolic pathway which involves oxidation of RuBP by RUBISCO occurs on hot, dry, sunny days causing plants to close their stomata and after the plant's oxygen (O2) concentration level in the leaf to be higher than the carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration which is not Good.

Explanation:

Photorespiration where the term "photo" means Light (sunlight) and respiration ( the break down of food i.e, glucose in the cell to produce energy, so in this process Plant Take carbon to loss fixed carbon as CO2 to take out Oxygen as O2 and the enzyme RuBisCO oxygenates RuBP during photosynthesis. it wastes energy and decreases sugar synthesis and it allows plant to use excess of light energy and reduce photooxidative damage when the plant is water-stressed and the stomata are closed , So Somehow this process is not Good for plants.
