Answer:Pollination: It is defined as the transfer of pollens from anther of a flower to the stigma of its’ or other flower. The pollination is of 2 types:
Self pollination and
Cross pollination.

Self Pollination Cross Pollination
The transfer of pollen gains from anthers to stigma of same flower or another flower of the same plant. The transfer of pollen grains from anther of one flower to stigma of another flower of a different plant of same species.
External agency is not needed for selfpollination. An external agent is needed for carrying the pollen grains from anthers to the stigma.
This does not help in producing new races, varieties and species also. A mechanism of producing new races, varieties and species also.
