Answer :-

1 ) when the voters poll thier vote using electronic voting machines on election day, all the EVMs are sealed and taken to a safe place.

2 ) On a fixed date, all the EVMs from a constituency are opened and the votes obtained by each candidate are counted.

3 ) The candidate who gets the highest number of votes from a constituency is announced elected.

4 ) The same process is repeated and followed for all constituencies and wards in all elections.
