Power of lens is the reciprocal of focal length of the lens.

It is measured in Diapoter(D).

1D is the power of lens whose focal length is 1m.

D = 1/f (in metres)

The power of concave lens is in negative and that of convex lens is positive.

Cheers!

Answer:

power of a lens means that how much focus I available for that convex/concave lens.

Explanation:

this type of focus depends upon the position or degree the glass of the spear is bent in order for that needed focus.
