When any plane passing through the central axis of the body divides the organisms into two identical halves it is called radial symmetry .Coelenterates, ctenophores and echinoderms have this kind of body plan . The symmetry in which the body can be divided into two identical left and right halves in only one plane then it is said to be bilateral symmetry .Such type of symmetry is seen in animals like animals annelids, arthropods ,etc.,

Hey friend, Here is your answer-
1. Radial symmetry :
An imaginary cut passes through central axis in any plane of body , gives two equal halves. Thus, five different planes passing through central axis of body can divide the body into two equal halves.
Ex. 1. Star fish
2. other echinoderms
2. Bilateral symmetry :
Only one imaginary axis passing through the body divides it into equal halves.
Ex. 1. Insects
2. Fishes
3. Frog
4. Birds
5. Human
Hope it will help you
