What is meant by rational thinking? What measures will help u to become a rational thinker?​

Contrary to popular opinion, not all thinking is rational, at least as we would define rational.

Rational thinking is the ability to consider the relevant variables of a situation and to access, organize, and analyze relevant information (e.g., facts, opinions, judgments, and data) to arrive at a sound conclusion.

This means doing research and using information available to make the most rational decision. For example, if you have to choose between 2 gyms you can evaluate things like - Price, Equipment available, Distance from home, and then make decisions based on that. But for the most part, people are not rational thinkers.
