Rationalising factor is a term with which a term is multiplied or divided to make the whole term rational.
example: rationalising factor of
4 \sqrt{5 =  \sqrt{5} }
4 \sqrt{5 \times  \sqrt{5 = 4 \sqrt{5 \times 5} } }
4 \times 5 = 20
hope it may help you

KRISHNAKUMAR24: but tell me the rationalising factor of 5/3√3
ALEKHYA7777: 5/3 root 3 × root 3/root 3 = 5root3/3×3 = 5 root 3 / 9
