Hi there!

Validity:
The test measures what it is meant to measure and not some other thing.

A useful common term for "Valid" is correct. That is correct measurement. There are various types of Validity.
(Do ask if you want to know more- as this important for doing, understanding, and even creating Psychological Tests like RELATIONSHIP tests, Love Tests, Intelligence Tests, Success Tests, etc)

Reliability:
It is basically applicability of the experiment or tests, on the general population.

It is a way to know whether something applicable In a lab or an individual, is also applicable in general or in the Outside World.

Hope it make sense!
