Resistance of a conductor is defined as the quantity which resists the flow of charge from a conductor.The S.I unit of the resistance is volt.the resistor defends on the lenght of the conductor, it also defends on the area of the cross section of the conductor.

Explanation: (a) if the length of the conductor is doubled then te resistance will be decreased by 2 times.

(b) and if its radius is doubled then the resistance will ncreased by  2 times.
