rock cycle is the process by which rocks formed.
the process is:
*lava flow from the volcano comes out and sediments on the surface.
*then after rapid cooling it forms igneous or parental or primary rocks which is the first formed rocks.eg:Basalt rock which forms black soil which is common in Deccan region.
*then igneous rocks exposed to weather conditions break down into small pieces.
*these materials get eroded and form sedimentary rocks.eg:sandstone,clay.
*when sedimentary or igneous rocks exposed to high heat and pressure they form metamorphic rocks.eg:quartzite,slate.
*these metamorphic rocks still under pressure and heat forms magma again and this process continuous to form the rock cycle.
