HEYA HERE'S UR ANSWER.....

Snell's law is also known as snell-descartes law.

It states the ratio of the sines of the angles of incidence and refraction of an electromagneticwave of a definite wavelength are constant when it passes between two given media.

n1 represents refractive index of first medium

and n2 represents refractive index of second medium.

sine i represents angle of incidence of first medium.

sin r angle of refraction of second medium.

Now,

n1sini=n2sinr.

This law is also called as law of refraction.

Hope this helps you quickly

here's your answer looking for___⤵

♦ SNELLS LAW :--
================

☆A ray of light changes its path when enters into one medium from other medium .
▪ if ray of light enters from optically rarrer medium into optically denser medium ,bends downwards.
____
LAWS OF REFRACTION:--
=====================

♦ the incident ray , the refracted ray and the normal lie in the same plane.

♦ the ratio of sine of angle of incidence (i) to the sine of angle of refraction (r) from a given pair of media remains constant.
____
☆the constant is called refractive index of the medium in which lights enters w.r.t to the medium from which lights comes i.e

=》 sin i / sin r = à^ų,w.
