Specific Heat Capacity means it is the amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of a substance of a unit mass by 1 degree Celsius or Kelvin.
Specific Heat Capacity = Heat absorbed by body / ( Unit mass of body ×Rise in temperature)
Rise in temperature is 1
Specific heat capacity = Heat Absorbed /Mass
Since, Each elemets have different masses due to protons and neutrons. Therefore, each substance have different specific heat capacity.
Hope, it may help.
