It is the specific time which is taken same of whole country . The standard meridian line is passes from MIRZAPUR (U.P) is taken as same time for whole the country. We need it because there is time lag of 2 hours from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh ,so there is problem of time measurement in india . That's why standard tine is taken of whole country
