The strength of an acid mean to what extent the dissociation of acid takes place in its aqueous solution. On this topic they can be categorized as strong or weak acids. Strong acids are those which ionize completely to show about 100%dissociation. They include hydrochloric acid,nitric acid, etc Weak acid are those which do not ionize completely. And include acetic acid, oxalic acid etc.

\huge\textbf{Strong Acid}
==========================

→ Which ionised/dissolved completely in water to form H+ ions.

→ Almost all inorganic acids are strong acid.

→ Their pH value is 1 - 4

→ Ex :- H2SO4, HNO3, HCl etc.

\huge\textbf{Weak Acid}
=========================

→ They ionised/dissolved incompletely in water to gave H+ ions.

→ Almost all organic acids are weak acid.

→ Their pH value is 5 - 7.

→ Ex :- CH3COOH, H2SO3 etc.
