Sub-Irrigation is the distribution of water to soil below the surface.
Advantages -
1. It provides moisture to crops by upward capillary action.
2. Applying water through SDI maintains dry crop foliage.
3. It can be used in low water capacity and in high infilteration rate.
4. It reduces incidence of foliar disease.
5. It reduces loss of applied pesticides.
Disadvantages -
1. Here soil is replaced with water and nutrients suspended in solution.
2. Water appliances may be largely unseen, it is more difficult to evaluate system operation and application uniformity.
3. It reduces upward water movement.
4. It is very costly.
5. It is a less developed technology than some alternative Irrigation system.
Plz Mark it as brainlist when in use.

Sub-irrigation means the distribution of water to soil
ADVANTAGES OF SUB-IRRIGATION :
1.low costs on operating the very low pressure systems such as gravity flow drip systems fed by water from the rain barrel .
2. Deeping of the plants you grow they may need watering twice a week during summer installing like irrigation systems may seem so costly including the labor
The four meathords of irrigation are:
Surface sprinkler drip/trickle
DISADVANTAGES OF SUB IRRIGATION:
1. Clogging up easily and poor water distribution uniformity compared to other emmites sites
2.
