or inside the nucleus of the atom. There are basically three sub atomic particles of an atom which are electrons, protons and neutrons

protons are positively charged particles

electrons are negatively charged particles

neutrons are having no charge

mass of neutron is about 1.6749 x 10^-24g

mass of electron is 5.4 x 10^-4 amu
