Hello Mate!
Sublimation is the process when the matter changes its state from solid to gas or vice - versa without changing into liquid state in between. This means that no liquid is left behind between change of state.
The best examples are given below ⤵⤵⤵
1. Dry Ice - When carbon dioxide is compress and cooled then they change into solid xarbon dioxide also called dry ice because when it is heated up then it directly changes into gas.
2. Nepthalene balls - Remember those small balls kept by parents in trunk full if clothes? They vanish or become small when you open trunk in next season. But they don't leave any liquid on cloths. They are sublimates.
3. Camphor and Ammonium chloride are also popular examples to show sublimation.
Hope my answer helped.
Have great future ahead!
