The doctrine of Sustainable Development has most commonly been defined as development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their ownneeds.

⭐The development that meets the need of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs is called sustainable development.
Sustainable development is a need of an hour because the resources are unevenly distributed and we all are becoming infact have become dependent on resources, we are consuming our resources without thinking about future generations. A time come when there will be no resources left to be used. So sustainable development is a need of an hour.
