When a vector is spilt into many other vectors then it is known as resolution of vectors.
The other vectors into which the primary vector splits is known as component of vector. All the components of a vector combines to give the same resultant as the primary vector.
Also, When the vectors splits into components which are perpendicular to each other then the components of the vector are called rectangular components of vector. There are î,j (cap) and k (cap).
Now,
according to your question,
The primary vector is 150N
∅ = 50°
It's horizontal component will be = 150cos50
And Vertical Component will be = 150sin50
