The process of shaving off a sheep's body to obtain fleece alongwith a thin later of skin is called shearing.

It is the measuring of silk worm in order to obtain silk from them.

(ii) Shearing: It’s a process of shaving a sheep’s full body to obtain wool along with a very thin layer of skin.
