The least angle a protector can measure is called least count of a protractor. It is 1 degree in normal protractors (as there are 10 divisions after every 10 degrees).

Least count of protractor
The least count of any instrument is the lowest value in a particular unit that can be calculated using that particular instrument. Protractor is used to measure angle in degrees. Now in case of protractor there are 10 small division which divides a value of 10 degree into 10 parts.
Hence the least count is 10/10 which is equal to 1 degree. Hence one degree is the least value which can be calculated using a normal protractor by using naked eyes.
