The capacitor is used to store energy in the form of electric field. The charge in the capacitor determine the voltage between the plates. The capacitance is the fixed value for each capacitor. When we connecting a source to the capacitor, it start charging and it reaches the same potential as the source have. The charging curve is an exponential one. The voltage across the capacitor is find by the given equation,
V=Q/C
