A human eye can see nearby as well as distant objects clearly just by adusting or changing focal length of an eye lens...

If we want to see distant objects clearly focal length of the eye lens increases accordingly...

This adustment makes the eye lens thin...The strength of bending the light ray decreses here...This strength of bending light is nothing just called a power of an eye lens...

Similary , if want to see nearby objects clearly , focal length of eye lens decreases as a result eye lens become thick...

At this adjustment , strength of bending light rays increses so the power of lens increses too...

Just by adjusting the focal length of eye lens...our eye get an ability to accomodate power...This is what we call power of accomadation...

Power of accomodation is the ability of a human eye by which a normal human can see nearby as well as distant objects clearly by adjusting focal length of an eye lens...
