Rest and motion are relative terms because they depend on the observer's frame of reference. .......... So if two different observers are not at rest with respect to each other, then they too get different results when they observe the motion or rest of a body

Rest and motion are relative terms as something we see in rest is actually in motion as the earth is revolving and rotating for example if we see a stone lying on the street it is in rest but actually it is not at rest as the earth is rotating and revolving.
