Green manure is made by farmers in the crop field.Farmers grow some leguminous crops such as clister beans ,cowpea and horse gram.When these plants are grown up then uprooted not cleared away from the field.After one or two months these legumes get decomposed by the action of microbes and turns into green manure. its role in agriculture is to:
1.increase soil fertility
2.make the soil spongy
