What is meant by the term pH of a solution ? The pH of rain water collected from two cities A and B was found to be 6 and 5 respectively.

Ph means negative logarithm of hydrogen ions..if ph equals to 7 it means it is in neutral state..If ph less than 7 ,it is acidic..If ph exceeds 7,it is in basic state....Given A and B cities comes under acidic state
