The Two-Nation theory is the basis of creation of Pakistan. It states that Hindu and Muslim are two seperate nations from the very beginning; therefore Muslims should have a seperate homeland in the Muslim majority areas of India, where they can spend their lives according to the glorious teachings of Islam.

The phenomenon of Two-Nation theory originated with the advent of Islam in the subcontinent (712 A.D.). In 1192 A.D. Sultan Muiz-ud-din firstly proposed Prithviraj of the idea of seperatio of Hindu and Muslims.

Emperor Aurangzeb was responsible for straining the relations between Hindus and Muslims by trying to Islamize the Mughal government.

This theory was a complete falsification of Indian History because :

● From Medieval times, the intermixing of Hindus and Muslims in India developed a common culture.

● Both the communities fought together against the Common enemy (Britishers).

● During the national movement both Hindus and Muslims sufferred repression as one people.
