we take some crushed ice in a beaker and spent a thermometer in it we note the temperature of ice it is bonded to be zero degree celsius we know heat the I gently by using a small Flame of the burner on heating I start melting of warm water we keep on recording the temperature of melting Eyes on the thermometer every minute as more heating is given more ice melted to form the water but the thermometer reading remain at zero degree celsius as long as they remain even a little of ice in the beaker the temperature does not rise it remain constant at zero degree celsius this so that there is no rise in temperature during the melting of ice it is only when all the ice has melted that the temperature of water started rising on father heating. ..
