Gautamiputra Sri Satkarni is a ruler who adopted the title of Tri-Samudra-toyapeet- vahana’.

The title is given to those rulers who have drunk the water of three different seas from east, west, and south.

These three seas from different places are The Bay of Bengal, The Arabian Sea, and The Indian Ocean.

There are various rulers in Indian history who got this title of Tri-Samudra-toyapeet- vahana’ such as Simuka, Yajnasri Satkarni, and Vashishtiputra Pulumayi.
