they are waves below 60hz
infrasonic:
they are waves above 60000hz

Ultrasonic sound have frequency more than 20,000 hertz while infrasonic sound have frequency less than 20,000 hertz. They both are inaudible sound. Dogs,bats produce ultrasonic sound while cats produce infrasonic sound.
