Uniform circular motion can be described as the motion of an object in a circle at a constant speed. As an object moves in a circle, it is constantly changing its direction. At all instances, the object is moving tangent to the circle.

There are a lot of objects that follows circular path of motions. To describe the speed of object, consider the tangential speed of the object. If it is constant, the motion of the object is called as uniform circular motion. The uniform circular motion happens due to a centripetal acceleration directing towards the center. The direction of the object will continuously vary due to the center directed acceleration. The magnitude of the tangential speed remains same even the direction varies.
