A body is said to have uniform velocity if it covers equal distance in equal intervals of time in a particular direction, however the time intervals may be small. This means that if a body is traveling at a constant speed along a straight line (i.e, a particular direction) then it said to have uniform velocity.

When a body moves in a straight path and covers equal distances per equal intervals of time then the motion of the body is said to be uniform velocity
