Untouchability is first of all A SOCIAL EVIL...
The early society of India was largely distinguished on the basis of caste, creed or religion.
The people of the Upper Cast hated and discriminated the Lower Caste people. Thy thought touching the bodies of the lower caste people would make them 'impure'
You won't believe, the lower caste people were prevented from entering temples, drinking water from the same well. They led a Very very sad life....
But you know those days.....
In spite of living in the 21st century, Untouchability still exists..... it exists in the remote parts of India.
This problem can only be solved by brotherhood, unity and love
Hope this helped you....
