Vasectomy is the surgical procedure undergone by males in which the the tube carrying sperms in males is cut and sealed so that while having sexual intercourse with a female the sperms won't get released in to the vagina and fertilization won't take place.
Tubectomy is a surgical procedure undergone by the females in which the Fallopian tube which will carry the egg for fertilization will be cut and sealed so that to prevent pregnancy during sexual intercourse with a male.
