Family of Salts means a group of salts that have the same acidic or basic radicals.
EXPLANATION:
In other words, when salts are made from same acids or same bases, they are classified as a family.
For example, sodium chloride and calcium chloride are salts that belong to the chloride family because of the chloride radicals in them. Similarly, zinc chloride and zinc sulphate belong to the zinc family because of the zinc radicals.
