The kidney is the main organ which excretes harmful wastes .

The removal of unwanted metabolic wastes from our body is defined as excretion.

Excretion is removal of harmful nitrogeneous wastes such as urea , ammonia and others from our body.

They extract the wastes from blood and help to excrete the unwanted nitrogeneous wastes from our body.

Sweating is not excretion because that is done incidental and for other purposes . It only leads to cooling.

Excretion is very important as if excretion is not done and if wastes are left to accumulate in the blood after a certain level , the organism may die because urea and other wastes are poisionous.
