Median is the side from midpoint of 1 side joined to vertex of opposite side
Altitude is the line perpendicular to one line and its other end point lie on vertex of other side

the perpendicular line drawn from any vertex of triangle to the opposite side it is altitude.
and the line which join the vertex of a triangle and midpoint of opposite side it is median.
