when ice is heated the ice melts away and change its state. again if the ice is cooled it come back into ice state. so, ice is melting and turning back into ice again.it is a reversible process. Melting of ice can happen in two instances that is due to climatic change and due to heating the ice. Heating of ice is a reversible process.
