By the name itself we can conclude that it is obviously about membrane and the word genesis means growth or you can say formation also.
So membrane biogenesis is the process by which the proteins and lipids formed by smooth endoplasmic reticulum help in the formation of the plasma membrane.
So now u get to know the organelles as well. They are Endoplasmic reticulum and specially the smooth one which produces proteins and lipids.
