✌️✌️✌️✌️

DEFINITION:-

The time in a woman's life when menstrual periods permanently stop; it is also called the "change of life."

Menopause is defined as the time when there has been no menstrual periods for 12 consecutive months and no other biological or physiological cause can be identified

HEALTH RISKS:-

The ovaries also make the hormones estrogen and progesterone, which control menstruation and ovulation.

Menopause happens when the ovaries no longer release an egg every month and menstruation stops.

Menopause is considered a normal part of aging when it happens after the age of 40.

Examples include:

Heart and blood vessel (cardiovascular) disease. When your estrogen levels decline, your risk of cardiovascular disease increases.

Osteoporosis. This condition causes bones to become brittle and weak, leading to an increased risk of fractures.

Urinary incontinence.

Sexual function.

Weight gain.

hope it helps u❤️❤️
