Menstrual cycle occurs in girls at the age of adolescence. After which it continues every one month till the age of menopause After adolescence due to hormonal changes ,the ovaries releases an ovum every month and the endometrium is prepared for pregnancy. A wall is formed in the endometrium in order to support the embryo If the ovum unites with the sperm and gets fertilized it gets implanted on the endometrium wall;but if not it starts to degenerate along with the endometrium wall. The degenerated part ;known as corpus albicans discharges along with blood resulting in bleeding Bleeding may continue to 4-5days It is not so much in detail it’s just the basic Please mark me brainliest.
